As the author of Ten With a Flag, the irony of using AI is not lost on me. In an era where “algorithmic necessity” often dictates digital visibility, I utilize AI-assisted design to ensure this website remains a viable, visually engaging space. It is a pragmatic choice made to navigate the digital rigors of our time.
However, I believe some things demand a human soul. While pixels may be assisted by code, all prose on this site is my own. Furthermore, I am committed to the human touch for tangible craft: all my book covers and physical products are created by human artists. I use the machine to survive the web, but I hire the artist to honor the craft.
